Woodbyne Private Hotel provides seven large and exquisitely appointed guest rooms, located in quiet seclusion around a central garden, each enjoying a panoramic view of the surrounding meadows, creeks and gardens. Getting back to nature doesn't mean sacrificing luxury at this exquisite country retreat. The gardens at Woodbyne are regarded as one of the most important on the South Coast and beautifully reflect the changing seasons. Residents of the hotel can stroll around the gardens at their leisure. The seven rooms are large, the neutral tone of the walls create a simple, elegant backdrop for the varying accents of furnishings and fabrics. Guest suites are spacious, light filled and refined. Each has its own luxurious bathroom, a small dressing area, bar fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. All rooms have a comfortable sofa, desk, table & chairs, television and video player and all Sydney TV programs are received. A number of videos are available from the library. All suites open onto a deck which leads to a delightful plunge pool and lounging area. Breakfast is served in the breakfast room but may be served in the privacy of your own room, in the courtyard by the pool, or in the sunken garden.

Gibsons by the Beach

Gibsons by the Beach is a nature lover's paradise from which you can explore the beauty of Twofold Bay, the beaches and the surrounding national parks. Your hosts ca advise you on bay cruises, fishing trip and whale watching which are available from October to November. A two minute walk from the home takes you through the garden and a bush reserve to a beautiful beach. The beach is ideal for children or those who like to swim or snorkel without big waves. The self contained apartment is the downstairs section of our home. It is close enough to the water for you to hear the waves lapping on the beach. The apartment features an open plan main area with lounge, kitchenette and dining area. There is a separate bedroom with queen bed, plus additional singles in the lounge. Upstairs there is an ensuite bedroom which is suitable for overnight stays. Laundry and barbecue facilities are available. A great choice of goodies awaits you for breakfast which is served upstairs – or you can self cater. At Gibsons, the choice is yours – privacy or pampering.
