Avignon

Ecuries des Chartreux

Stay in the heart of Provence in a historic, 17th century home. Located in the center of the charming and historic village known as Villeneuve-lès-Avignon, Ecuries des Chartreux is very close to Avignon (3 minutes away). For your comfort and convenience, the apartments all are equipped with a kitchenette which will give you the opportunity to make light meals. The three cozy apartments are fully independent and the charming garden is most inviting all throughout the year. The thick stone walls, the beams and furniture are antiques and contribute to the bewitching atmosphere of the place. The apartments allow you to live the way you like with no obligation whatsoever.

Le Clos du Rempart

This 19th century house was completely restored in 2001 and transformed into a charming bed & breakfast. Le Clos du Rempart is located right in the heart of Avignon old town, few minutes walking from the Popes' Palace and the famous Pont d'Avignon. Around its pretty patio, 2 comfortable guest rooms with air conditioning and private bath, each in a particular style. A flat/self catering apartment is also available for vacation rental in Provence. Nothing would lead you to believe that behind its imposing walls hides a secret patio, planted with Provencal plants and whose friezes remind you of Andalusia or the Middle East. The comfort, the space, the luminosity of the rooms and the pure peace, disturbed now and then by the birds singing, are what will first impress you. Mas du Clos de l’Escarrat

Located in Jonquières 6 miles from Orange antique theater, and 20 minutes only from Avignon in the heart of Popes Provence and northern sunny Vaucluse, the Mas du Clos de l'Escarrat is a lovely old stone farm house, of typical Provençal style, which incorporates buildings dating back to the 17th Century. The house has been carefully renovated to preserve its authentic, rustic character and charm, without compromising the need for modern comfort in all the accommodations. The Mas is surrounded entirely by farmland and is remarkably peaceful and secluded. The owners occupy the main house, and there are two self-contained studio apartments and two separate, larger two bed roomed apartments available for guests. All four guest apartments have private WC, shower, color TV and kitchen facilities. Each studio apartment has one double bed room and a separate kitchenette with hot plate, fridge, mini-oven, sink, cooking utensils and cutlery.
