The Gîte de Montvilliers is an old school and farm house in a tiny village on the slopes of La Plagne, restored and refurbished as a luxury bed and breakfast (serving dinner too). In the heart of the Tarentaise, it's an ideal base for all types of outdoor activities, such as rafting, mountain climbing, paragliding, cycling (with several mythical Tour de France passes nearby), hiking in the Beaufortain and Vanoise national parks, and may others. Gîte de Montvilliers is 3500 feet above sea level and is beside an orchard in a mountain hamlet. It overlooks the Isère River and the town of Aime 3 miles away, all surrounded by the snowcapped Alps. Your host family speaks many languages including English, French, Spanish, German and Italian. In winter you will enjoy the combination of being in a mountain village environment and the 220 kilometers of runs, the 95 unit lift system and the vast and beautiful off-piste area that La Plagne has to offer. Occupancy is available for 23 in six large rooms. Each room can hold three or four guests. A choice of twin beds, double beds and bunk beds is available. Each room has its own bathroom including shower, toilet, and washbasin. For larger groups, extra accommodations are available nearby. You will enjoy a large dining room with a fireplace, a television room, a terrace beside the orchard, a mountain view deck, central heating and private parking for up to 9 vehicles.

The town of Grignan in Drome is a land of heritage, culture and French Provence atmosphere. Located for centuries in the heart of the valley, amongst fields of "garrigue", lavender, truffles and vineyards, along the river "Berre" sits an old olive mill known as La Maison du Moulin. Breakfast will be enjoyed outside under the covered terrace. The trickling sound of the fountain and the shade of a hundred year old plane tree will charm you. In the lovely Drome Provencale, tucked along the banks of a small river, you will enjoy the many qualities of La Maison du Moulin. Some of these qualities includes a narrow lane leading to the residence, and its 12 acre calm surroundings, fresh local products such as honey, apricots, picodon, goat cheese, truffles, olives, bread and wine. A summer kitchen and large fireplace is at guest's disposal for self prepared meals.
