Pension Schönblick is a quiet bed & breakfast with a family atmosphere. Pension Schönblick is located south of the Harz mountain region in the heart of Germany. It is here you will find Bad Frankenhausen in the region of Kyffhäuser with its memorial "Kyffhäuser Denkmal". In German, the word "bad" means spa or bath and so as you might guess, Bad Frankenhausen is home to a popular thermal spa. This is a great place for the whole family. In addition to the spa, you will also find massage, saunas and more. The bed and breakfast is situated on the edge of the forest and allows you to enjoy a magnificent view of the little town and the Diamantene Aue. The house is in quiet location, facing to south on the slope about a 10 to 15 minute to walk to the Panorama Museum and to the town center. The bed and breakfast provides access to fax facility, local food and beverages, 1 single with shower with bathroom, 2 double with shower, washroom and beautiful views to the south; 1 suite with bath, washroom, open fire place and lodge which faces south and has a wonderful view and all rooms are equipped with radio, satellite TV and phone. Children are welcome and there is a swing and garden available for use. Children from the ages of 0 to 13 stay for free when they are in the same room as their parents.

Haus am Zeiberberg

On your arrival at Haus am Zeiberberg you will be welcomed by the Riedemann family who moved to Germany with their 4 children (3 daughters and son) from Australia in 1990. Haus am Zeiberberg offers you a secret view into the surrounding forest with its badger and pheasant painting on the exterior wall. The surrounding gardens, terraces (which include ample sitting place for large groups), fruit trees and the nearby fields and forests add to its beauty and tranquil atmosphere. When you stay at this house you can taste a combination of Australian and German hospitality. A larger apartment is available for those that are confined to a wheelchair or for those who prefer a little more comfort. There are plenty of sites to see in the area including the historical Vulkan Brewery and an underground tour of the historical whinstone rock caverns (a depth of 30 meters). Others choose to bike or walk along the numerous rivers and the famous vineyards. This house is very central to the cities of Bonn, Köln (Cologne) and Koblenz, also ideal for the business man who is looking for accommodation for Expos/Messe which are frequently held in these cities. Sport fans are well catered for in this region as this location is only a 30 minute drive from the Nürburgring, the famous racing track for Formula 1, trucking events, oldie and saloon cars and of course the motorbike rider.
