Guesthouse Hvammur in Höfn, Hornafiörður, is a beautiful guesthouse in the centre of the town with views over the harbour and glaciers to the west. There are 30 single, double or triple rooms and ones which can accommodate a family. All rooms have cable TV and washbasin. Höfn in Hornafjörður is an Icelandic fishery town in the southeastern part of the country. Trips are offered to the nearby Vatnajökull glacier. Hvammur is conveniently situated between Vatnajökull and Lónsöræfi and a short distance from many activities, including horseriding nearby, trout fishing in lakes or rivers, many excellent walks in the area, excellent opportunities for bird watching, trips to Lónsöræfi, bus and walking tours, 9 hole golf course on the edge of the town, boat trips on the glacial lagoon, Jökulsárlón; glacier tours by 4 wheel drive and snowmobile, ice climbing, and heated swimming pool with hot pots – 50meters from the guesthouse.

B&B Guesthouse

B&B Guesthouse is located in center of the town of Keflavík and is only a 5 minute drive from the Keflavík International Airport. Guests are provided with transfers to and from the airport free of charge. All services, banks, restaurants, cinema, grocery stores, shops, gyms, outdoor swimming pool with hot tubs, are within the walking distance of 5 - 10 minutes. The guesthouse provides 7 double rooms with made up beds. Continental breakfast is included in the price. All rooms have a sink & mirror, wardrobe, desk & chair and a radio alarm clock. Families traveling with small children are offered a special childbed with child bed linen and toys. There are three bathrooms with showers, towels and a hairdryer. Guests have access to a washing machine, a dryer, an ironing board and an iron. Guests may also use a fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator, microwave, oven, dishwasher and all other necessary equipment for dining. There is also a nice living room with a TV/VCR as well as a computer with Internet access free of charge. Parking is available free of charge also. The guesthouse can help you in such things as renting a car too. The Blue Lagoon is only a 15 minutes drive from the guesthouse.
