The house was built in 1998, completely out of teak wood facing the majestic Mount Agung in the village of Kenderan (5 km north of Ubud). Surrounded by lush and luxuriant vegetation, this bed and breakfast offers you the choice of three rooms for rent with views of Mount Agung or of the garden and basins of water where lotuses and fish make their home. All of the rooms in this Balinese guest house are equipped with ventilation for the hotter days, but due to the fact the house is located approximately 350 meters above sea level, the temperatures are more fresh and more pleasant than in the south of Bali. Your breakfast will be served while you enjoy views of Mount Agung (the highest volcano in Bali) and if you so desire, you can visit the village and visit a traditional Balinese house, you can initiate offerings or in the evening you can listen to Gamelan, the traditional orchestra of Bali. You can walk through the rice plantations towards the river and watch it falls below the house. Early morning you can watch the herons of Petulu coming to seek their food in the garden or the rice field. You can also watch and listen to the colony of monkeys who enjoy the sugars fruits of the ramboutan tree. The living room is spacious and a great place for conversations. Your hosts can organize excursions into Bali with an English speaking guide, ensure your transfer to the airport or you organize one day spa (Balinese massage, bath of tropical flowers, etc).
