The CottageBed and breakfast accommodation in the green “Wine Tourism” countryside. Central location which is ideal for visiting the Friuli Region and East Veneto. Venice, Treviso, Trieste, Udine, beaches and mountains are all within 1 hour by car or train. The Cottage is a pretty English Style villa which offers you 2 lovely and tastefully decorated twin, double or single use en-suite bedrooms. One room can have a third bed upon request. Each room has tea & coffee making facilities and private entrance. Also available is a small well equipped apartment (55 square meters) for 2 persons self catering with private garden and garage. Tasty summer breakfasts and dinners are enjoyed in the conservatory or under the jasmine pergola, in the large garden. There is a cozy mansard lounge where winter breakfasts are enjoyed and also for guests to relax in. The Cottage is a non-smoking establishment. There are many small historic towns, castles that you can visit and ancient abbeys close by. Typical foods found at nearby local traditional inns and restaurants include prosciutto di San Daniele, local cheeses, soups, cakes and wines of course. You can arrange cycling tours, horse back riding and there are also golf courses close by. Beaches, Aqualand and Day-Spa, Ski grounds and mountain trails are all within 50 minutes by car. Caves and extreme sports are within 75 minutes by car. Antiques markets are open on the weekend. Traditional feasts and festivals all year around. |

Villa CorènVilla Corèn was built in the 16th century and the towers were added at the side in the 18th century. It was once the property of the nobles Caiselli and Belgrado, but has been in the Cecioni family since the mid 19th century. It is surrounded by a garden and small park, about 5,000 square meters, completely enclosed by a wall. Villa Corèn is an average size farm, about 63 hectares, growing grapes for wine. All the wine is produced on the farm itself. The fields are all around the Villa and the farm, and form a significant agricultural center only 10 minutes from Udine. In the large building that used to be the cellar and barn there are now six apartments sleeping from 2 to 5 persons. The apartments are well equipped for a pleasant stay in the country. Amenities include a large sitting room with a well equipped kitchen, a wood fire, comfortable armchairs, direct dial telephone (suitable for modem) and satellite TV. Direct access to a small private garden, one for each apartment, equipped with table and chairs, sunshade and deck chair. One apartment for 4 has been restructured and is completely accessible for the disabled. Pets such as cats and dogs are welcome, provided they are well behaved. |

B&B Famiglia McCoy MorealeYou will be staying in a three storey family home, typical of Friulian architecture while staying at B&B Famiglia McCoy Moreale. The house has undergone many restorations. Initially a barn and stall, the house was slowly transformed into a family home. Over the years, the house has been restored while conserving the typical aspects of Friulian family homes. There are many antique pieces of family furniture that have been lovingly restored and furnish the B&B and the private section of the home. There is private parking in the courtyard and city mountain bikes for excursions. In back of the house there is a large flower garden with hammocks, swings, and lounging chairs for relaxing and where breakfast is served when the weather permits. The vineyard and vegetable garden is your host’s pride. It is here that homemade wine is made. During harvest season guests are welcome to watch or give a hand in the wine making while learning all about homemade wines. Guests may taste fresh squeezed grape juice or “ribolla”. Your host also happily offers fresh vegetables from the garden or a glass of wine to enjoy while relaxing in the garden or on the balcony after a long day of sightseeing. The bedrooms in the bed and breakfast are spacious and bright with single beds that can be joined to make queen size beds. There is one single room with the window view onto the flowered balcony, one double room with view of the front courtyard and one double room with a view of the rear flower garden and vineyard. Additional beds are available to be added in case of children. There is one shared bath with shower and a fully furnished kitchen with gas stove and oven, microwave, fridge and all the needed for cooking. |
