B&B Cascina Montonale Garda LakeFrom atop a quiet hill, B&B Cascina Montonale faces Lake Garda and provides an astonishingly beautiful view of the lake. The bed and breakfast is an old farmhouse that is romantically set in a picturesque green landscape. Originally built at the beginning of the 1800's, the home was restored in 1998. The area around the bed and breakfast is an idyllic land full of historical interest. Beautiful towns like Verona and Mantova are easily accessible by the Autostrada. Lake Garda itself offers many opportunities for boat trips, water sports, for walks among the hills and for trekking and climbing in the mountains where you can enjoy many wonderful and breathtaking views. The neighbourhood around the bed and breakfast is rich in tavernas and restaurants. In addition, the local people are extremely warm and welcoming. Cycles are available, parking is free, as is tourist literature. The large garden is available for the use of the guests too. Breakfast is served on the patio where the guests can enjoy remarkable views of the mountains, or if a cool breeze is blowing we eat in the large warm kitchen. In the guests’ wing on the first floor there are two comfortable bedrooms, both furnished in rustic style, with TV and a spacious and modern bathroom. |

Villa San Pietro Bed and BreakfastVilla San Pietro is a recently restored 17th century villa with massive oak beams, ancient brick floors, and beautiful antique furnishings. The Villa is owned and operated by a young French - Italian couple, Anna and Jacques Ducroz. Upon your arrival, you are invited to relax under an ancient fresco or enjoy a welcome drink in the secluded garden. The furnished rooms are each 32 square meters with private ensuite bathroom. The attic bedroom and its salon share a bathroom with the blue room. All rooms are charmingly furnished. Villa San Pietro is located in Montichiari, 8 miles from Desenzano on the fabulous Lake of Garda, 60 miles from Milan and its Theatre La Scala, 70 miles from Venice and 20 miles from Verone and its arena lyric concerts. Enjoy a delicious breakfast in the sitting room while admiring the ancient frescoed ceiling or in the garden. Upon request, candlelit dinners can be served at night. During the winter months enjoy breakfast in the frescoed ceiling room. In the summertime, breakfast is served in the garden. Your hosts offer fresh bread, baked daily, delicious homemade yogurt and a variety of jams. Enjoy cereals, orange juice, tea, coffee, and chocolate. Upon request, a five course homemade dinner with fresh baked bread is available. Dinner includes fresh homemade pasta, organic vegetable, and fruit. The courtyard of Villa San Pietro is surrounded by a natural setting of flowering trees and colorful flowers. The Villa has remained within the family for over 400 years. Villa San Pietro is APT inspected (the Tourist Promotion Association) and a member of the Garda Association of Bed and breakfasts. |
