10 Woodlands Road B&B and Self Catering

Whether your visit to Durban is for business or leisure, you are ensured attentive though unobtrusive service in the suburb of upper Glenwood. Situated on a quiet one-way road away from traffic guests enjoy a full English or continental breakfast which is served in the relaxed open plan dining room area. 10 Woodlands Road offers four individual en-suite bedrooms, tastefully decorated in fresh colours. There is also a fully equipped self-catering unit. Each room is individually air-conditioned with TV, mini-bar fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. Designed with the business person in mind, each room has a telephone (Internet compatible) and desk or table to work on. Fax and laundry facilities are also available. Unaccompanied ladies can be assured of a secure environment. Regrettably due to the fact that the pool is unsecured, the inn cannot accommodate children under 12 years. This is a non-smoking establishment but smoking permitted on the patios and in the garden is permitted. The hosts do have some small dogs.

In the region you will find the Ukhahlamba - Drakensberg Park has recently been declared a World Heritage Site. The Underberg district is famous for its fly fishing and your hosts specialize in organizing whitewater rafting adventures on the Umzimkhulu River for their guests. There are also numerous hikes into the berg, horse rides in the foothills and you even go on game drives – see zebra, wildebeest, most of the antelope and numerous water birds. The cottages are located only 220 km from Durban.
