Stay in luxurious beach cottages on the island Huahine in French Polynesia. Situated, as you would expect, on a white sandy beach, guests enjoy a new type of accommodation consisting of bungalows tents which are 60 meters square. These luxurious tents are complete bathroom and terrace on the ocean's edge. The interior is very luxurious and entirely decorated with exotic teak furniture. Included in your stay are: palms, masks, bicycles, breakfast, free transfers to the airport, Cobra kayaks for excursions and a kitchen on the beach to prepare your meals (or there are many take-away food around). Fare Ie is the first pension or guesthouse to open in Huahine that offers guests the opportunity to stay in luxurious tents. You will wake up every morning with a splendid white sand beach as your front lawn. Your tent is located on the edge of a turquoise lagoon which allows you the opportunity to take advantage of some splendid snorkelling. For the surfer, you will find yourself opposite one of the best surf spots in the world. Located in a very calm and beautiful area but only 1 kilometer from the picturesque village of Fare with its typical market, shops, restaurants and activities such as: boats, jet-ski, car rental, 4X4 tours, scuba-diving and excursions to Polynesian archeological sites. Fare Ie is also only 2 kilometers from the airport. Every evening, you will have a col drink watching the sunset on Bora Bora!

This 150 square metre woodhouse has very comfortable 3 double rooms, 1 complete kitchen, 1 bathroom with bath, hot water and toilets; 1 outdoor bathroom, fans and mosquito nets provided, and a nice living room with a large terrace. Fare "Iita" is located on the mountainside with a spectacular view on the Bourayne Bay lagoon in a luxurious and peaceful forest area. Fare "Iita" is easily accessed by road and is close to the Maroe bridge. The breakfast is free. The transport is free from the airport. Transport by night ship is extra. Pension Tupuna

Pension Tupuna is peacefully situated on the waterfront of beautiful Bourayne Bay on French Polynesia's Society Island of Huahine- Iti. The bay is one of the most picturesque parts of the entire island and the property is fairly remote in its secretive location. At night, you can hear the waves of the nearby ocean crashing against the coral reefs. During the day, you'll be enchanted and soothed by the lovely sounds of birds chirping in the surrounding forest. The property has a nice little private sand beach and by good fortune, the property is nearby one of the nicest strips of beach on the entire island. Guests receive free pick you up from the airport in a custom 4 wheel drive vehicle at no charge. There are plenty of trees and flowering plants including vanilla, mape, and tamanu, among others on the property. The Tupuna grounds and gardens are all artfully designed from local, native plants and lovingly arranged to please the eye and spirit. In the same spirit as the carefully landscaped grounds, the cottages are designed to make you feel comfortable and a part of your natural surroundings. Cut and shingled from wood on the grounds, the bungalows are simple, single rooms, with large beds, a night-table and electric lights. The rooms are decorated with art and fabrics that are interesting to the eye and soothing to the taste. Rooms are clean, with comfortable bedding, and all equipped with mosquito nets, if you should need them. The individual bungalows have their own private washrooms with hot water and shower. Rates include all taxes and a free breakfast consisting of juice, tea, water or coffee and bread, jam, butter, honey, and many kinds of fresh fruit from the island. Gourmet dinners are cooked every night and available at an affordable rate. Your hosts serve delicious and healthy island dishes but welcome you to tell them what you like.

Pension Vaihonu - Chez Etienne

Pension Vaihonu (Guesthouse and Camping) is located on the ocean side of Huahine 1 kilometer (0.62 miles) south of the airport and 2.5 kilometers (1.55 miles) north of the main village of Fare where there is the commercial centre and ferry dock. The Pension was established on the beach side with the barrier reef close-by. Guests also enjoy views of Raiatea, Tahaa and Bora-Bora Islands. In season watch the hump back whales about 110 yards off the shore. Pension Vaihonu offers free round trip transfers, including bicycles (with conditions), from and to the airport, port or other BNB within the village of Fare. This small hotel complex is surrounded by lush vegetation in the heart of Moorea. The hotel gets its name from the abbreviation of 2 first names, Temarii and Nainoha, which have the following poetic meaning “Small bird from the big ocean covered by a royal sunrise.” In nature the “Noha”, a white bird comes to nest in the valley to shelter its offspring. It is in this family environment that the “guest houses” are situated around a swimming pool in a magnificent botanical garden. The village is full of optimism, enjoyment and happiness that is shared with guests. The village is situated in an area of lush greenery in the heart of Moorea in the valley of Pao Pao. Temanoha Village is located one kilometer from the main road, offering Polynesian style bungalows on an outstanding site. Temanoha Village is a small hotel complex or “Fare d’hôtes” comprised of 6 bungalows laid out around a swimming pool in the middle of a botanical garden. The compound is spread out over 2 hectares with many fruit trees, including: grapefruit, banana, papaya, and guava, avocado, orange, as well as giant bamboo and other forest trees. The bungalows are built in a Polynesian style that incorporates Moorea stone and wood, making them truly authentic. Two types of bungalow are available (120 square feet and 150 square feet). These units are accessible directly either by car or by boat. The boarding house uses fresh vegetables, yams and fruits which are grown in the soil of Tahiti. You will also consume fresh fish and shellfish, all of which are caught the very same day. In times gone by, the Tahitians came to Teahupoo to scan the horizon in search of shoals of fish, or to guard against attacks from enemy tribes. It was also a place of worship. Vanira means "vanilla" in Tahitian. Vanira Lodge has 4 bungalows that blend into their natural surroundings, each with beautiful & expansive views over the sea & the park. The "fare potee" (reception area & guest lounge) provides a place to sit & read, chat, or simply daydream while contemplating the wonderful view. Designed as a home away from home, each 50 square metres bungalow can sleep 1 to 4 people & comprises: kitchenette, a roofed terrace, bathroom & toilet, lounge with 2 single beds and one bedroom with a double bed (in 2 of the bungalows this is the mezzanine). Three of the bungalows are built in traditional style with pandanus roof & walls of stone, bamboo & wood. Works of art, these all-natural "fare" create a universe as magical as a childs dream. The fourth is built of modern materials but decorated in traditional style and features: fan, sheets & towels, fully equipped kitchen, rooms cleaned every second day and hot water in the kitchenette & the bathroom.
