The J. Patrick House Bed & Breakfast is the perfect place for a romantic getaway. We are surrounded by tall Monterey pines, country gardens and water fountains. The main log house has one guest room, Clare. A garden and passion vine covered archway leads to an additional seven rooms in our carriage house. Each is filled with antique furniture, a window seat, wood burning fireplace and private bath. Enjoy the unique décor of your room surrounded by Irish country comfort and amenities. You may choose to enjoy a relaxing massage in the privacy of your room. At 5:30 each day enjoy the company of guests and your hosts in the cozy living room of the log home. Gather around the fireplace and enjoy a selection of wine and hors d'oeuvres in the early evening and 'Killer" chocolate chip cookies and cold milk before bedtime. We serve a delicious full breakfast in our Garden room where you can watch the Hummingbirds drink from the flowers. Cambria and the surrounding area offers a wealth of activities including the Hearst Castle & more.

Cheshire Cat Inn and Cottages

The Cheshire Cat Inn & Spa features three stately Queen Anne Victorians, an elegant Coach House with two suites, three 2-bedroomed cottages and two Spa rooms offering full massage and body treatments, all surrounded by lush flower-filled gardens and patios. The Inn is just one block from Santa Barbara's main shopping street, which is full of attractive courtyards and alleys. The Old Mission is an easy 20-minute walk in one direction and the beach, a brisk 40 minutes in the other. Rates include full breakfast served on Wedgewood wild strawberry china and local wine and hors d'oeuvres. Each one of the sunny guest rooms and cottages is uniquely furnished and ranges from the elegant to the whimsical. All the rooms have private baths and direct-dial telephones.

Sixteen eateries, antique and garden shops, boutiques and more are within three blocks. Ride our bikes to explore ocean bluffs, mountain wilderness, salt marsh park, and flower fields. Profrocks has been featured in the 'Land's End' catalog and now you have the opportunity to experience this wonderfully romantic bed and breakfast yourself! Prufrock's is a historic home that was completely renovated before opening in 1995. Remodeling was designed to restore the original integrity of the house and also make it functional as a bed and breakfast Inn. The location is most desirable. It is away from the freeway just one block from a beautiful beachside park and right in the middle of main street charm. Guests can exit the front door for a beautiful sunset walk on the beach or visit one of the many shops or restaurants close by.
