Nestled in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains among acres of orange groves, only 16 miles from Sequoia National Park, lies The Plantation Bed & Breakfast of Lemon Cove, CA. The plantation is a peaceful country getaway located in a small citrus community with a population of 191, yet conveniently located on the two-lane scenic California Highway 198 with various tourist attractions and over 100 restaurants within a 20 minute drive. Take a step back in time when you walk into the ruins of the original settlers' house, built from river rock in 1880. Stroll through the orange grove around the Bed and Breakfast and you will also see some peach, plum, apricot, cherry, apple, tangerine, avocado, fig, pomegranate, lemon, banana, walnut and olive trees, in addition to grapevines and blackberry bushes. Watch the sunset from the veranda, a glider under the fig tree or a hammock in the gazebo. Stay in one of eight romantic theme rooms named and decorated after characters from "Gone With The Wind".
