White Springs Bed and Breakfast

Voted by inn-goers as Best Children Friendly Bed and Breakfast in Arrington's Bed and Breakfast Journal Book of Lists 2002. Built in 1905 by the town dentist, Ivey Depress Kendrick, the house was built as a boarding house and features heart of pine floors, four wood burning fireplaces, large front porch and original Victorian tub. Located in the heart of the White Springs historic district only a short stroll to the romantic Suwannee River and only 2 blocks to cafés, shops and the new Florida Eco-Heritage Tourism Center. Only 3 blocks to the Stephen Foster Memorial Park and Museum nestled on the banks of the Suwannee River. The house is listed in the National Registry of Historic Places and is located only 2 blocks from the newly opened Shops of Spring Street. Only 800 residents live in White Springs the town that is still the "old" Florida. Whitewater at the Big Shoals offers thrills for those brave enough to attempt Florida's only white water. Springs everywhere offer cool swimming in the summer time. We have two rooms with full beds (no television - television is available in the downstairs parlour); two rooms with queen size beds (cable television); a twin bedroom along with a family suite.
