Worthington Mansion Bed & BreakfastThis home has been completely restored to its former glory. Little is known about the original set-up of the home as it has undergone at least two major changes: once around 1920, most likely when the home was sold to Theodore Wentz; and again when the home started being used as an advertising agency in 1955 until just recently. Throughout the home, you will find original work from local artists, both traditional and contemporary. Although the Mansion is well over 100 years old, the furnishings are an eclectic blend of both antique and old world inspired contemporary pieces. Depending on the day and season, breakfast at the Worthington Mansion may vary. Your hosts offer the freshest foods available and make every effort to use organic and local products, providing only the healthiest and most delicious meals. Everything is made fresh from scratch. The Yellow Rose InnLocated in the heart of downtown Indianapolis (historic "Old Northside" district), this beautiful 8000 square foot brick Georgian Revival Colonial was built in 1893 and now serves as The Yellow Rose Inn. The Yellow Rose Inn has been created to offer travelers on the road of life a rest stop marked by beauty for the eyes, nurturing for the body, happiness for the heart, and memories for the mind. All suites enjoy full access to the 1200-ft. roof deck overlooking nearby buildings to the downtown skyline. A 6 person hot tub is available as a wonderful place to relax and look out over the city - day or night. The roof deck is also an unusually pleasant place for small group parties and entertaining. The mansion’s first floor features three large formal rooms, each with a different period’s fireplace mantel. Inntiquity, A Country InnInntiquity Inn is located on State Road 25 North about 1.5 miles north of Logansport, Indiana, in a renovated 1849 dairy barn that has been in the family for five generations. Rooms at Inntiquity Inn have individual baths, bedrooms and sitting rooms. Some are almost totally period. Others have a period look with traditional furnishings. Comfort is emphasized in keeping with the pampering theme. Traditional colors combined with the Suites and handicapped rooms are available. Antiques and decorative items from local families help make each room unique. Most rooms have a canopied queen sized bed and all have access to a balcony. Logansport is located where the Eel and Wabash Rivers meet. Many scenic drives and bicycle routes are available. |
