This lovely country Victorian Inn is nestled on 3 acres of peaceful countryside in the Lake Sunapee Region. Wintertime, snuggle between soft flannel sheets, drifting off to sleep as the quiet sets in. Summertime, enjoy the soft breezes lulling you into drowsiness as you listen to the resident bull frogs serenading you. Wake up to the aromatic smells coming from the kitchen as we freshly prepare your 3 course gourmet breakfast - down to the dessert. Homemade jellies and jams, piping hot muffins and breads, tantalizing entrées, and mouth watering cobblers, pies and tarts. Sit on the gazebo porch and sip lemonade on a hot, lazy summer day... or walk the back roads of Bradford as the leaves change. Ski the slopes of Mt. The Rosewood Country Inn Bed and Breakfast is nestled on 12 hilltop acres in the charming town of Bradford in the Mt. Sunapee Lake Region of New Hampshire and only 90 minutes from Boston. Its early American tradition is recalled in its bordering stone walls, sunlit porches and inviting common rooms. Country elegance with an atmosphere of warmth and relaxation. The staircase leads from a welcoming center hall to the tastefully decorated guest rooms on the upper floors. All have private baths and enjoy their own distinctive intimacy. Activities include alpine and cross country skiing, mountain biking, minutes to five golf courses including two within walking distance, canoeing, and nearby hiking trails which lead straight to New England's Summit, Mount Washington. You can enjoy over 200 kilometers of "Nordic World Class Groomed Cross-Country Ski Trails" right from the door at the Ellis River House. Soothe your stresses away with a relaxing massage arranged at the inn or at our local spa minutes away. Since the inn does not meet the needs of children under twelve years of age, you will find the atmosphere to be most relaxing and quiet! For the romantic couple enjoy a moonlit sleigh ride in winter season or a carriage ride in spring, summer or fall. The twenty-one rooms at the Ellis River House are beautifully appointed with period antiques and a wide variety of traditional & modern amenities. Olde Orchard Inn

Our historic inn was built in sections starting in 1790. It was owned by the same family, the Browns, for more than 150 years and converted into a bed and breakfast in 1987. A full country breakfast served by candlelight in our three dining rooms, usually between 8 and 9 am. We change the menu daily and take pride in serving generous portions of excellent food. By advance arrangement guests' dietary restrictions or time schedule can usually be accommodated. The inn is a completely non smoking facility but smokers are welcome to smoke outdoors. Families with small children are normally assigned to a private area of the inn where they can relax without disturbing other guests. The inn has a guest lounge with TV and VCR where guests can relax in front of a crackling fire and another room where games can be played.
