The William Hand House

The William Hand House was built circa 1829 as one of Amagansett's first guest houses to accommodate the many summer visitors and artists who even then frequented the East End. Our guest rooms feature king, queen or twin beds, country antiques, private bathrooms with Jacuzzi tubs or showers, ceiling fans, in room refrigerators and cable TV/VCR. The bay beaches (which are quieter, warmer and have less waves) are only 5 minutes away. Rent a kayak, go horseback riding, antiquing, wine tasting, visit an art gallery or shop. There are several fine restaurants within walking distance. We are only 5 minutes from East Hampton and 15 minutes from Montauk. Amagansett is an upscale resort area where you will enjoy beautiful beaches, celebrity watching, and magnificent dining. Breakfast is served from 9 - 11 AM in winter and 8:30 - 10:30 AM in summer.

Stirling House Bed & Breakfast is located in the heart of Greenport Village, on the North Fork of Long Island, New York. Open year-round, the B&B is an 1873 Victorian home blending old world southern style hospitality with new world luxuries. This combination has made this bed and breakfast a Long Island Wine Country favorite. Come and explore the beautiful coast, award winning wineries and vineyards, fine restaurants and galleries, all just a few short steps away from the B&B. Whether you bring or rent a bicycle and go cycling through the quaint streets or take to the water on one of the exclusive lighthouse cruises, Stirling House will pamper you and tend to your every need. Stirling House is the only bed and breakfast in Greenport's historic district with breathtaking views. A deluxe continental breakfast is served to in the breakfast room each morning. Afternoon tea and lemonade are served and await your return from shopping, wine tasting, and enjoying the coast and town. The Stirling House offers three distinctive bedrooms. One bedroom with private bath is available, while the other two bedrooms share the use of an additional bath. The beautiful Victorian parlor is just the place to surround yourself with antiques and enjoy a great book. Television and a VCR are available in the breakfast room.
