Inn on Main Street

At Inn on Main Street, you will experience a 100 year old Victorian inn, furnished in turn of the century antiques with a modern attitude. This romantic air conditioned bed and breakfast is located just 10 minutes north of Asheville, 15 minutes from the Biltmore Estate and a short, scenic drive below Bull Gap on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Also nearby are whitewater rafting, skiing, golf, trail rides and the private mineral baths at Hot Springs. Quaint, quiet Weaverville is home of two pottery studios, the Milling Company restaurant, Sunnyside Cafe and Zebulon Vance Birthplace. The Hunter House was originally built in 1909, but offers all of the amenities of the 21st century. One hundred year old oaks, a relaxing wrap around porch with comfortable chairs and rockers and a sparkling pool are a few of the things for you to enjoy. The turn of the century home provides an ideal setting for a bed and breakfast. Decorative woodwork, high ceilings, hardwood floors, and eclectic furnishings combine for a relaxing stay. 803 Elizabeth is a small friendly bed and breakfast in Matthews NC just ten miles southeast of downtown Charlotte and all of its attractions. The home, built in 1962 is situated on five acres in a residential neighborhood. Our bed and breakfast offers a peaceful respite with the exception of the occasional crowing of the rooster. The property was designated in 1999 as a Back Yard Wildlife Habitat by the National Wildlife Federation. A delicious continental breakfast with homemade muffins or bread, juice, fresh fruit, cereal, coffee or tea is offered for your enjoyment. Breakfast is served from as early as you like up to 9:30 AM. Our owner occupied home offers two rooms with private baths and a third room available for parties of two or more willing to share a bath. All of the rooms are tastefully decorated with family antiques and a homelike atmosphere. A covered deck and sunroom are accessible from all of the bedrooms.
