Included in the room rates is our renowned buffet breakfast, served daily on the inn's covered deck overlooking the Atlantic Ocean; our wine and nibble hour and tour of the Island. Don't miss the Manisses Farm located on the land between Hotel Manisses and The 1661 Inn. The farm is home to llamas, Sicilian donkeys, goats, emus, black swans, a Scottish Highland steer, Brahma bull, Zebu & More!

Check Out Time Is: 11 AM
Cancellation Policy: There is always a $25 fee to cancel and in the 2 weeks immediately prior to arrival the full deposit is non-refundable.

1855 Marshall Slocum Guest House

The house has been meticulously restored to reflect the charm and beauty of its Victorian heritage, while offering today's comforts. We are 5 minute walk to downtown and harbor front and only a 10 minute walk to scenic Cliff Walk and beaches. The Marshall Slocum Guest House is a classic bed and breakfast, offering warmth and style in a convivial setting on a street of residential Victorians in the center of Newport. Six distinctly decorated guest rooms, a dining room set differently every day, a fireplace living room, a cozy parlor, and a charming veranda all beckon the Newport visitor. On the first floor we have a dining room where a full three course breakfast is served each morning between 8 and 10 AM. Guests awaken to the aroma of freshly baking bread and coffee brewing.
