Thomas Mott Bed and Breakfast

The Thomas Mott Homestead Bed and Breakfast is a completely restored pre-civil war farmhouse on Lake Champlain's northern shore, at the mouth of the Missisquoi River. This bed and breakfast inn has a perfect view of Mt. Mansfield and offers lodging one hour from Burlington, Shelburne, the Island of Montreal, Jay Peak and the Adirondack Mountains of Upper New York State. In warmer climes, you can relax on the bed and breakfast's enclosed porch or any of three outdoor porches. Also available for guests is a game room with bumper pool, darts, and a variety of other games. Our accommodations include five rooms each with a private bath. A full breakfast is served from 6:30 'til 9:00 AM. Your innkeepers will provide you with good food, travel information, games, books for browsing, and peaceful corners to escape. Rowell's Inn

Built in 1820 as a stage coach stop, offering 6 rooms with private baths and decorated in period and country furnishings. The Greek Revival style brick building is a fine example of an unusual recessed gable style found in the Connecticut Valley, Vermont and occasionally in New Hampshire. Rowell's offers lavishly beautiful rooms with many antique furnishing, country breakfasts, a four course dinner, cigar pub, rooms with fireplaces, all in a relaxing New England setting. There are several rooms with fireplaces and an English style pub for your enjoyment. Rowell's Inn is centrally located to areas offering a wide variety of winter, spring/summer and fall activities. An Austrian chalet in the Green Mountains of Vermont with our own cross country skiing, snow shoeing and hiking trails. Located about half way between Stowe and Sugarbush (discounted lift tickets available for our guests). Many opportunities for hiking, biking, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, golf on superior quality courses, glider soaring, horseback riding, sleigh rides. Ten second floor guest rooms furnished with antiques, comforters and quilts. Each room opens to a balcony which surrounds the inn and provides relaxing views of the Green Mountains. Two secluded cabins, each with a sitting area, queen size bed, and mountain view deck are along trails up in the woods. Breakfast at the Grünberg Haus features homemade breads, fresh fruit creations and hearty main dishes.
