Harmony Hill offers country comforts in a contemporary log home, set on 17 acres of rolling farmland in Nelson County, Virginia in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. All of our spacious air conditioned guest rooms have private baths, queen size beds, comfortable furnishings, hand made quilts and ceiling fans. Each room has a unique feature such as a fireplace, whirlpool tub or sitting room. Special touches such as fresh flowers and baskets of fruit in each room make every guest feel pampered. Evergreen The Bell-Capozzi House

This southwestern Virginia bed and breakfast graces the hills of Christiansburg. The house's lavish facade hides an in ground heated pool in the backyard, with gazebo, rose garden and fish pond. All five guest quarters offer TV/VCRs, heart pine floors, original light fixtures, and private baths. Godiva chocolates are also available in the rooms. Come experience southern hospitality, classic elegance, and small town charm at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley. Enjoy elegant lodging, gracious hospitality and gardens in this lovingly restored Colonial - Victorian home, circa 1908. Elkton is nestled between the Blue Ridge mountains to the east and majestic Massanutten Peak to the west. The romance begins at the Garden Gate as all paths lead to five outdoor garden rooms that include a wonderful wrap front porch complete with a swing and lots of rocking chairs, a waterfall garden and patio, picnic table, and Adirondack chairs. There is also a Spa Garden and patio that includes a six person hot tub. This area is a nice place to do both walking and biking. Applewood Inn & Llama Trekking

Conveniently located midway between Lexington and Natural Bridge at the upper end of a long hollow which follows scenic Buffalo Creek, Applewood Inn Bed and Breakfast and its 37 acres is perched high above the creek in a very private and beautiful setting. This passive solar home is furnished with antiques, reproductions, quilts and original artwork with massive lodge style porches that afford lovely views of the surrounding woods, hillside pastures grazed by llamas and the distant mountains. Adjoining the inn's property are more than 900 acres of forest and meadow crisscrossed with miles of trails for hiking, riding and llama treks. The llama treks are two hour guided hikes with a llama from the inn. Breakfast at Applewood is usually served family style . The emphasis is on hearty, delicious but healthy breakfasts. Special diets are accommodated with advance notice.

Briar Patch is a historic farm (c. 1805) on 47 rolling acres in the heart of Virginia horse, antiques, and wine country on Route 50 west, 4 miles east of Middleburg. Just 20 minutes from Dulles Airport and 45 minutes from Washington, DC -- when you enter our world you leave the stress behind. Relax around or in the large pool and hot tub or curl up with a good book on the front porch overlooking the Bull Run Mountains. Explore the historic towns of Aldie, Middleburg, and Leesburg brimming with antique shops and fine dining. Explore Civil War battlefields, shop at a nearby outlet mall, or sip Virginia wine at one of the nearby wineries. Sports fans will enjoy horseback riding at one of the local stables, playing tennis, golf or other sports, or hiking through the mountains. This area satisfies diverse interests and lifestyles. Kosher meals (including lunch and dinner) available upon request. The main house has six bedrooms on the second floor, each with a shared bath. For additional comfort and privacy, two rooms can be combined to create a roomy suite with private bath. Five of the six bedrooms have queen size beds and one has a king size bed. All are furnished with antiques. If you prefer a ground floor room, there are two available complete with their own private baths, private entrances, and queen beds. Each bedroom in the main house is named after a flower to reflect the colors and scents of the flowering plants surrounding the house. Frederick House is a small hotel elegantly done in the European tradition. Frederick House is located in downtown Staunton, the oldest city in Virginia west of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Guests can take a leisurely self guided tour of historic Staunton, including Woodrow Wilson Birthplace and historic Trinity Church. The surrounding Blue Ridge and Allegheny Mountains offer good cycling, hiking and touring. Frederick House guests are within walking distance of several points of the Historic Staunton Train Station complex, which combines Amtrak service with two excellent restaurants, an ice cream parlor, and an eclectic collection of antique shops.
