Our lodging accommodations are in the secluded wilderness area of Glacier, WA which is east of Bellingham, Washington. We are near snowboarding, down hill and cross country skiing, hiking, climbing, kayaking, river rafting, BMX, frisbee golf, bird watching and of course, we make a great place to stay for those who just want to relax in the great outdoors. Our southwestern style décor is both warming to the soul and relaxing for the mind and body. We are situated on four secluded acres in a pristine mountain valley, and surrounded by spectacular mountain views. We offer three rooms and a secluded hot tub spa with a view of Mt Baker. Villa Heidelberg was built and named in 1909 by the original owner, Jacob Mades, from Heidelberg, Germany. It is a grand old European style home located in the heart of West Seattle. It is complete with wood beamed ceilings, open staircase, original gas/electric light fixtures, leaded glass windows, a fireplace in the living room, as well as one in the master guest room, a wrap - around porch, and a view of Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains. Come down to our lovely dining room each morning and enjoy a complimentary breakfast, complete with fresh squeezed orange juice and gourmet coffee or tea.
